Event Description
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins).The patient reported that she was charging too frequently.The patient reported that she just had a replacement put in (b)(6) 2017 and thought it was defective because it was not holding a charge.The patient reported that she had to charge every 2-3 days.The patient reported that she could hardly feel stimulation, even when she was turning it up.The patient reported that she had recently been reprogrammed or switched to a new group.The patient reported that she recently had the need to increase parameters.The patient reported that she had a visit in the doctor¿s office on (b)(6) 2017 for programming.The patient reported that she had it programmed on (b)(6) 2017 with a manufacturer¿s representative.The patient reported that she was told the battery would stay low and not to touch the programmer until (b)(6) 2017.The patient reported that on group b she was able to feel more stimulation.The patient reported that the rep told her she wouldn't feel much stimulation on group c.It was noted that the replacement was due to normal battery depletion.No further complications anticipated.
