Event Description
Information was received from a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for non-malignant pain. The patient reported that his ins was not charging and was ¿acting strangely.¿ the patient reported that the recharge coupling level seemed to fluctuate between 0, 2 and 4 bars, but he couldn¿t obtain more than 4 bars or maintain them. The patient reported that he tried repositioning the antenna and turned the antenna polarity disc without success. The patient reported that he had been trying to charge for 1.5 hours and said the ins must have been depleted because his stimulation had turned off.The patient reported that the stimulation came back on after he charged for a little bit.The patient reported that he was implanted on (b)(6) 2017 and still had bandages over the implant sire. The patient reported that he would attempt to charge again once the bandages were removed. No further complications anticipated.
