No patient information provided as no patient was involved in this concern.A medtronic representative went to the site to test the equipment.The representative reported that the gantry motion controller was replaced without resolution.It was noted that further troubleshooting found that the winch assembly required replacement.However, confirmation of replacement has not been provided.
 
Event Description
A medtronic representative reported that, while outside of a procedure, the gantry door of the imaging system could not be completely opened.It was reported that the motor could not complete the opening process.There was no patient present when this issue was identified.No additional information was provided.

Event Description
Additional information was received.It was reported that the returned door winch was lost at the mdt brazil warehouse and is unavailable for further analysis.The manufacturer representative also provided event information stating that before the replacement of the door winch, it was possible to open the gantry door with the manual wrench; meaning that it was possible to completely open the gantry door manually.After replacing the door winch the issue was resolved and the system was completely functional.
