Event Description
Per the patient's surgeon, the patient experienced an extrusion of the receiver stimulator through the skin flap.It was reported that the surgeon suspected that the patient had been interfering with the skin surrounding the device, resulting in the extrusion.Subsequently, the receiver stimulator was explanted on (b)(6) 2018, and the electrode arrays were left in situ.There are currently no plans to re-implant the patient as they were a non-user of their device.
