Event Description
|
It was reported that the insulin pump alarmed compromised force sensor system.The customer¿s blood glucose level was 18 mmol/l at the time of the incident.The customer reported that insulin leak, shooting out while changing reservoir.The alarm happened twice.The troubleshooting was performed.The customer reported that alarm occurred during the rewind and prime sequence.The customer was advised that the insulin pump needed to be replaced and was advised to discontinue use of the insulin pump and to revert to the backup plan.The insulin pump will be returned for analysis.
