Medtronic received information that 16 years 1 month post implant of this 29mm aortic bioprosthetic valve which was originally implanted as a root, was replaced valve-in-valve with a 25 mm aortic bioprosthetic valve due to torn leaflets that led to moderate aortic regurgitation.No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
