Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp) regarding a patient who was implanted with a neurostimulator for urinary dysfunction/sacral nerve stimulation.It was reported that the patient has partial lead fragments implanted and the implantable neurostimulator (ins) was removed about 10 weeks ago.The healthcare professional (hcp) who reported the issue believes the ins was explanted for mri.There were no further complications or anticipations reported with this event.On (b)(6) 2018, additional information received from a healthcare professional (hcp).It was reported that the patient had the stimulator explanted but part of the lead broke off and remain implanted in the patient's pelvis.There were no further complications or anticipations reported with this event.
