Event Description
Information was received from a consumer via a manufacture representative regarding a patient implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for failed back surgery syndrome. It was reported that the ins stim level changed from 9.6 ma to 0ma after the rep switched from their tablet to the patient's controller. It was discussed that this may have been due to the patient leaning forward with adaptive stim activated. It was also reported that the patient's therapy had been turning off by itself since implant, but the patient would be able to turn it back on again. It was reviewed that the patient take notes when this issue occurs. It was also reviewed that the ins was probably not turning off due to battery depletion as the patient is able to turn therapy back on afterwards. No further complications were reported.
