It was reported that the patient presented in-clinic with symptoms of swelling in their feet, shortness of breath, and stimulation to the side of the pulse generator. The symptoms subsided upon massaging or applying pressure to the area next to the pulse generator.Upon interrogation, the left ventricular lead showed variable capture threshold values and a rise in impedance, as well as loss of capture. An x-ray indicated that the patient's leads appeared to be behind the pulse generator and the electrodes seemed to have moved. The left ventricular lead was programmed to a different pacing vector due to the patient's pacing dependence. No further information was available.
