Event Description
Information was received from a consumer (con) regarding a patient who was implanted with a neurostimulator for gastric stimulation.It was reported that the patient needed a complete replacement since their leads had wrapped up in the scar tissue in their stomach.The patient had a pyloroplasty done and their nausea started getting worse.They had their device looked at and there was no signal getting to the leads, so it was decided to replace both the leads and the implanted neurostimulator (ins).No further complications were reported or anticipated.

Event Description
Information was received from a consumer regarding a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins).It was reported her battery was getting and she needed it replaced.The patient was transferred to patient services.There were no further complications that have been reported as a result of this event.
