It was reported that at the end of a cryo ablation procedure, while removing the catheters, part of the dilator containing a competitor¿s coronary sinus catheter, was severed and remained in the right femoral vein.The case was completed with cryo.The patient was taken into surgery to remove the dilator of the manufacturer sheath.As the physician was compressing the puncture site, the dilator was removed, and it was noted that the dilator was already severed.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
