Event Description
The patient presented with a stenosed fistula which was intended to be treated with a gore® viabahn® endoprosthesis.It was reported to gore that after successfully deployment of the gore® viabahn® endoprosthesis, the deployment line could not get detached/separated from the medical device.It was stated that a snare device was used in order to have it detached and removed from the patient.The patient was not harmed during the procedure.
