Information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp) regarding a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for gastric stimulation.It was reported that the patient had been hospitalized for diarrhea, nausea, and vomiting twice in the last 2 weeks, and that they were discharged a week ago, but were now back for the same issues.The patient thought the device may be going dead.It was noted that the patient started having abdominal cramping, their abdomen was still hurting, and they thought something was not right.The patient had active bowel sounds and had always had gi issues, but they¿ve noticed symptoms had become more prominent/were worsening over the last month.It was noted that the patient was trying to get into uab where the device was implanted, but they did not have any openings.No further complications were reported/anticipated.
