Event Description
According to the reporter, after laparoscopic cholecystectomy, a bile leak was discovered.The patient needed to come back to the operating room due to a bile leak.The leak was right at where the clip was fired on the bile duct.The surgeon went back in laparoscopically and identified the leak and repaired it.It was noted that the event extended patient hospitalization.
