It was reported that during the implant procedure, the implanter initially tried to place the left ventricular (lv) lead but had difficulty getting the lead into the desired vessel.It was noted when the lead was removed from the sheath, the physician visualized blood on the inside of the lead.The physician requested the lv lead be replaced and was not implanted.No patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
