On (b)(6) 2019, a patient in (b)(6) underwent a procedure for the placement of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (peg) tube with jejunal (peg-j) tube.On (b)(6) 2019, the small intestinal loop was perforated during the procedure.The patient subsequently developed pneumonia, peritonitis, and had increased crp levels.The patient remained hospitalized in the intensive care unit after the procedure.The peg-j tube is still in place.
