Event Description
It was reported that after use of the bd safetyglide¿ insulin syringe with attached needle after the injection nurse engaged safety and top of syringe lifted and came back down and needle stuck into nurse's thumb.Hepatitis c testing was completed.The following information was provided by the initial reporter: verbatim: after injection, nurse engaged safety and top of syringe lifted and came back down and needle stuck into nurse's thumb.
