Event Description
Physician attempted to use a visi-pro during treatment of a lesion in the patient¿s common iliac artery.Pre-dilation was performed.It is reported the stent came off the balloon during positioning prior to crossing the lesion.The stent was able to be deployed in the iliac artery but not over the target lesion.Another stent was then deployed to cover the visi-pro.No adverse event reported for the patient.

Additional information: target treatment area had high-grade stenosis.No resistance was experienced during advancement.The stent dislodged from the balloon in the right common iliac artery.The physician attempted to advance the balloon through the undeployed dislodged stent but was unable and ultimately deployed in the iliac artery at unintended treatment area.If information is provided in the future, a supplemental report will be issued.
