Event Description
|
It was reported to boston scientific corporation that an obtryx system and a mesh from a different manufacturer were implanted during a tot (trans-obturator tape) and tvt (tension-free vaginal tape) procedure performed on an unknown date.According to the complainant, after the procedure, the mesh infiltrated in the bladder wall, urethral sphincter and damaged the adductor longus muscle.Subsequently, the patient experienced chronic pelvic pain.On (b)(6) 2019, the patient underwent surgical removal of vaginal component of tot and tvt mesh and reconstruction of urethra and vagina.The patient's current condition is unknown.
