It was reported that following a cryo ablation procedure with an unknown outcome, the patient experienced shortness of breath; and could only take a few steps at a time before becoming short of breath and having to stop.The patient's oxygen saturation levels were lower than expected.The patient had to stop and catch their breath multiple times during conversation.The patient had pleuritic chest pain that was worse upon deep inspiration, and was coughing.A sinus rhythm was present with a prolonged pr interval, and inferolateral pr depression, consistent with acute pericarditis.The patient was diagnosed with acute post-ablative pericarditis.The patient was admitted to the emergency room, and was treated with intravenous and oral medication.An echocardiogram showed a trivial pericardial effusion.The patient was administered additional medication.A chest x-ray was performed, and showed bibasilar atelectatic changes.The patient was hospitalized.The patient is a participant in the (b)(6) clinical study.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
