Information was received from a healthcare provider (hcp) regarding a patient who was implanted with a neurostimulator (ins) for movement disorders.It was reported that the patient¿s battery was protruding through the skin, and a possible infection was noted.The patient said that the device started off more medial under their skin, then migrated laterally.The patient was given antibiotics, and the battery was removed, and the extension wires were cut.The product was discarded.The issue was resolved.There were no further complications reported.
