The account requested the hillrom technical support representative to dispatch a hillrom technician to repair the bed.A search of the hillrom maintenance records showed hillrom performed preventative maintenance on this bed in 2018.It is unknown if the facility performed any other preventative maintenance on this bed.The hillrom technician went to the account to inspect and repair the bed and the account was unable to locate the bed with this alleged issue.The account will notify hillrom if the bed is located and any additional assistance is needed.Based on this information, no further action is required.

Hillrom technical support received a report from the account stating the foot end of the bed was running on its own.The bed was located in building 172 1 e, room 122 at the account.There was no patient/user injury reported.This report was filed in our complaint handling system as complaint #(b)(4).
