Event Description
During the index procedure one resolute onyx des was implanted in the lad.Approximately 8 months later the patient suffered stemi inferior.An mi occurred in a non target vessel.Cag also showed thrombus in the rca and distal embolization of the thrombus had occurred.The patient was treated with stenting and thrombosuction.The patient recovered.The investigator reported that the event is not related to the index device or anti platelets.The sponsor assessed that the event is possibly related to the device and not related to the anti platelets.It was confirmed the patient was treated with stenting of the rca (non target vessel revascularisation).A resolute onyx was used to treat the rca.Cec adjudicated the mi as non-q-wave (non target vessel)- rca.No event for stent thrombosis and revasc as non tvr-pci -rca.The distal embolization of the thrombus was noted post the revasc stenting.
