It was reported that during a cryo ablation procedure, st segment elevation occurred after insertion of the balloon catheter and mapping catheter within the sheath.A coronary angiography was performed and coronary vasospasm was found.A myocardial infarction was indicated and the patient presented with chest pain.The case was aborted, and it was unknown whether the patient was under general anesthesia.The patient is a participant in the comparison of rf and cryoballoon ablation therapy of af clinical study.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
