On (b)(6) 2019, a patient in (b)(6) underwent a procedure for the placement of percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (peg) tube with jejunal (peg-j) tube.The patient¿s spouse reported that during the night on (b)(6) 2019, the patient was hospitalized due to abdominal pain and flatulence.The patient underwent surgery due to peritonitis and the tubing was removed.It was reported that a patient was in a stable condition; however, the postoperative evolution of the patient was not favorable.On (b)(6) 2019, the patient experienced cardio-respiratory arrest and died.The cause of death was reported as cardio-pulmonary arrest.It was unknown if an autopsy was performed.
