It was reported that the cardiac resynchronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d) system was implanted and oversensing was observed on the right ventricular (rv) lead.It was also noted the patient experienced diaphragmatic stimulation.Boston scientific technical services (ts) discussed that the oversensing was likely due to air bubbles, which typically resolves within 24 hours. The physician elected to continue to monitor and programmed tachy therapy off.Subsequently, the device was checked and the oversensing had resolved. This crt-d system remains in service. No adverse patient effects were reported.
