This spontaneous case was reported by a lawyer and describes the occurrence of elective surgery ('at the hospital to get my surgery') in a female patient who had essure inserted.The occurrence of additional non-serious events is detailed below.On an unknown date, the patient had essure inserted.On an unknown date, the patient underwent elective surgery (seriousness criterion medically significant) and experienced acne ("pimple on face"), stress ("stress "), hot flush ("hot flashes"), depression ("depressed") and fatigue ("tired").The patient was treated with surgery (she is at the hospital to get her surgery).At the time of the report, the elective surgery, acne, stress, hot flush, depression and fatigue outcome was unknown.The reporter considered acne, depression, elective surgery, fatigue, hot flush and stress to be related to essure.Concerning the injuries reported in this case, the following ones were reported via social media: pimple on face, hot flashes, depressed and tired.Quality-safety evaluation of ptc: unable to confirm complaint.Most recent follow-up information incorporated above includes: on 15-jan-2020: content from social media received.Events hot flashes, depressed and tired were added.Based on the available information, a review of our complaint records and other relevant data will be conducted; any new and reportable information that becomes available from our investigation will be provided in a supplementary report.
