Event Description
It was reported that the stent was damaged.A carotid wallstent was selected for use.During the procedure while inside the patient, the filterwire was unable to advance through the carotid wallstent lumen.The stent became damaged as the filterwire attempted to pass through the catheter.The procedure was completed by using another stent device.There were no patient complications reported.The patient status post-procedure was reported as good.
