Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp) regarding a patient with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for the treatment of gastric stimulation.It was reported that the ins was removed in (b)(6) 2018 because it was non-functioning; the patient was still having symptoms.The hcp stated the leads were still implanted and wanted to know if the patient could have a lumbar mri.No patient complications were reported as a result of this event.

Event Description
Additional information was received from a healthcare professional (hcp).The hcp reported that the ins was nonfunctioning because patient still had symptoms as it was not helping.They also stated that they lead was retained in patient for safety reason.No further complications were reported/anticipated at this time.
