Event Description
It was reported that the patient stated the implantable cardioverter defibrillator (icd) was left implanted, but not active due to the battery being exhausted.The device has been implanted for approximately nine and a half years.Attempts to obtain further information were not successful.The icd remains implanted and no adverse patient effects were reported.
