Product analysis: analysis confirmed the customer comment that the external pulse generator (epg) would not power on.The power connector in the lower case was corroded.The hanger was cracked.The main printed circuit board (pcb), upper and lower case halves, keypad flex, encoder assembly, all four knobs, main seal, tube, both tube sleeves, liquid crystal display flex, display frame, display frame grommets, insulator label, one case screw and all six pcb screws were found to be contaminated.The main pcb was corroded.The upper case was broken.Replaced the output connector assembly as a preventative.The battery voltage was too low to power epg.All found defective parts were replaced and all other identified issues were resolved.The device then passed all final functional tests.If information is provided in the future, a supplemental report will be issued.
