Event Description
Information was received from a healthcare provider regarding a patient who was receiving lioresal (baclofen) (2000 mcg/ml at 1480 mcg/day) via an implantable pump for intractable spasticity.It was reported that earlier in the year the patient's pump went empty and the patient experienced severe withdrawal symptoms.

Event Description
Additional information received from a healthcare provider (hcp) indicated that the patient experienced fever, spasms, tremors, and diaphoresis related to the empty pump.The pump went empty on (b)(6) 2020 because the patient's parents did not make the appointment for the refill.The patient was hospitalized and was given with rehydration and supportive treatments.
