It was reported that this left ventricular (lv) lead was surgically abandoned and replaced during a follow-up, due to high pacing thresholds leading to ineffective stimulation in any pacing configuration and loss of capture.High pacing thresholds were suspected to be caused by patient condition as lv lead parameters were all stable. Also, the patient experienced inadequate stimulation as the phrenic nerve was stimulated generating undesired sensations. No additional adverse patient effects were reported.
