Event Description
|
It was reported bidirectional block was unable to be achieved with a intellanav mifi open-irrigated.Aintellanav mifi open-irrigated, was used in combination of the rhythmia mapping system in a typical atrial flutter (af) ablation procedure.A intellanav mifi open-irrigated catheter was unable to be recognized by the maestro generator when connected though the catheter connection box.The catheter was visible on the rhythmia system and mapping was completed successfully. However: after the map was created, they were unable to ablate due to lack on communication though the maestro g2 connection box.The intellanav mifi open-irrigated catheter, cables, and maestro g2 connection box were replaced, but the issue persisted. The intellanav mifi open-irrigated catheter was connected directly with the generator and the physician was able to ablate. However, the procedure was considered unsuccessful as the they were unable to achieve bidirectional block.
