It was reported that during a shoulder procedure, while using the firstpass suture passer, the surgeon found the jaw was jammed and had to apply force to open the jaw.This was most likely due to the jaw being applied over bone.The procedure was completed using a back-up device.A delay of 30 minutes or less was reported.No patient injury or other complications were reported.All available information has been disclosed.If additional information should become available, a supplemental report will be submitted accordingly.
