Event Description
It was reported that foreign material was present inside the device.The patient underwent treatment for right internal cervical occlusion.A 8.0-36 carotid wallstent was used for treatment.However, an unspecified guidewire was advanced through the top of the device, it could not cross.The physician then found a black object inside the shaft.The procedure was completed with another of same device.There were no patient complications nor injuries reported and the patient's status was stable.
