Event Description
It was reported that the syringe 1.0ml 31g tw 6mm bls 400 sg experienced insufficient cannula length on patient end.The following information was provided by the initial reporter: material no:328446 batch no: unknown.Customer does not feel the 6mm needle on the bd safetyglide insulin syringe is long enough to provide proper injection/absorption of insulin in obese patients.Customer states that obese patients have been absorbing insulin slower than they did with longer needles.
