|
The customer reported that after several hours of patient support the flow reading values disappeared from the screen and the error message "art.Bubble sensor defective" was displayed.They replaced the flow/bubble sensor with another one and the error message "art.Bubble sensor disconnected" appeared.The cardiohelp was then replaced during treatment.No harm to patient reported.Complaint id: (b)(4).

A flow/bubble sensor error message was reported.The failure occurred during treatment.A getinge service technician investigated the unit on 2021-10-19/21/22 and could confirm the failure.The sensor panel was replaced to restore function.The technician performed safety, calibration, and functionality checks to factory specifications.A sensor panel with the same failure was already investigated by getinge life-cycle-engineering and the supplier (b)(4).The most probable root cause was determined as the digiflow mini damaged by electro static discharge (esd).Based on the investigation results the reported failure "flow/ bubble sensor defective error" could be confirmed.The occurrence rate was calculated for the reported failure and it was determined that this is not a systemic issue.Therefore, no remedial action is required.The occurrence rate related to the reported issue is currently being monitored as part of maquet cardiopulmonary¿ s trending program and additional investigations or corrections will be implemented in case of adverse trending.
