Event Description
|
Following an atrial fibrillation ablation procedure, a short circuit and subsequent burn marks were noted in the tactisys power supply.Initially during the procedure, the tactisys functioned as expected, but then an audible noise was heard and the tactisys disconnected.Despite the issue, the procedure was still completed with no adverse consequences to the patient.The device was opened by abbott staff following the procedure and a short circuit and subsequent burn marks were noted.There were no adverse consequences to the user.
