Event Description
It was reported that after ablating in the left atrium with an intellanav mifi open-irrigated catheter, the equipment was brought back to right atrium for cavo-tricuspid isthmus (cti) line ablation.During cti line, the system lagged significantly almost to the point of freeze.Data was no longer transmitted while delivering radiofrequency (rf). The physician didn't observe any rf data due to system lag.During rf, with no direct sense data available, the physician observed a steam pop.The physician attributed the steam pop to the lag of the system. The procedure was successfully completed with no patient complications. The patient was stable. The flow rate was 30 ml.Direct sense impedance was temporarily unavailable due to system lag.No char was observed on the tip.The device was disposed of and therefore will not be returned.
