Event Description
|
Medtronic received information that during use of this cardioblate gemini-s ft device, after all ablation lines were performed, when the operator was just about to retrieve the device, one of the guides broke off the device itself in a junction point.The device was removed.There were no adverse patient effects as a result of this issue.Additional information received stated that no part of the device fell into the patient.The customer stated that the broken part of the guide completely detach from the device.The customer stated that because the broken part was the guiding of the cardioblate gemini-s ft device it led out of the patient on the left side of the body and they were able to just pull it out of the patient.
