Event Description
It was reported that the device had a diagnostic code 1203 - alarm message: low leak-co2 rebreathing risk.There was no patient involvement at the time the event occurred, no patient or user harm reported.Onsite support was dispatched to troubleshoot the device.Further information has been requested.If additional information becomes available at a later date, a supplemental report will be submitted.

The service engineer (se) reported that the customer's problem was confirmed (low tidal volume).The se restarted and checked the device, it was found that low tidal volume was caused by the breathing pipe, and it was determined that the breathing pipe was out of order.The se then replaced the pipeline with a spare, and connected to the mainboard.The device was returned to service.

B5 device problem- it was initially reported that the customer had a low leak co2 rebreathing risk (diagnostic code 1203); however, after further review of the details, it was reported incorrectly, and the correct problem reported for the device was a low tidal volume issue.
