A medtronic representative went to the site to test the equipment.Testing revealed that the issue could not be repeated.The imaging system then passed the system checkout and was found to be fully functional.If information is provided in the future, a supplemental report will be issued.
 
Event Description
Medtronic received information regarding a navigation device being used outside of a procedure.It was reported that multiple buttons on the pendant were failing to respond or were slow to activate.Also they were getting an error message "failed to upload images" when sending images to pacs.There was no patient involvement.It was noted that the pacs issue was most likely an it or pacs sourced problem.
