It was reported that an amia device experienced a low priority alarm (max air exceeded) alarm. The patient was not connected at the time of the alarm. This occurred during priming of peritoneal dialysis therapy.During troubleshooting, it was determined that the patient replaced one solution bag and cassette and re-used the other bags. The patient disconnected and reconnected the used bags improperly.Renal therapy services (rts) explained to the patient that they would need to start over with all new supplies, new solution bags and cassette. There was no report of patient injury or medical intervention associated with this event. No additional information is available.
