Event Description
|
It was reported that during the replacement procedure, after the right ventricular (rv) lead was disconnected from the cardiac resyn chronization therapy defibrillator (crt-d), a pause was visible via telemetry prior to reconnecting the lead to the new device. It was noted that the patient was likely not well supported via left ventricular (lv) lead only pacing at current programmed outputs. It determined that the pause was due to the lv lead not capturing while the rv lead was being changed. The lv lead remains in use.No further patient complications have been reported as a result of this event.
