Event Description
|
It was reported that the bd insyte¿ autoguard¿ shielded iv catheter, winged experienced the catheter backing out of vein.The following information was provided by the initial reporter: difficulty in inserting the new winged catheters, the kt seems to be in the vein (venous return) but difficulty ++ in mounting the catheter on several occasions, the vein collapsed or it was impossible to mount the kt, which with the old devices was not a problem even in patients with precarious venous capital.
