Event Description
A journal article was reviewed that contained information regarding the efficacy and safety of non-permanent external pacemakers.The article reports two patients who died of septic shock and multiorgan failure after pneumonia, following cardiac arrest and massive bronchial aspiration.The status/disposition of the devices is unknown.
