Event Description
|
Information was received from a manufacturer representative regarding a patient who was implanted with an implantable neurostimulator (ins) for gastroparesis. It was reported that contact 3 was out of range and patient (pt) was getting return of symptoms.Rep reported that therapy is 95% effective for the patient. They changed the programming to c+2- which had an impedance of 275 ohms.Hcp had questions regarding whether that change was ok.Ts reviewed that as long as pt is getting therapy, this change shouldn't change much for the patient. The healthcare provider confirmed that the reason the patient went to see them was because they had a return in symptoms. They indicated that the patient did not have any falls or issues that lead to the change in therapy.
