Event Description
I have the kenevo ready to be sent back however the patient had forgotten to bring back the charger. There is an issue with returning the charger at present as the patient is in the hospital. He was due to come in last monday but missed his appointment. We had phoned but he said he would call back at a later time as he had broken his leg and was in the hospital.I phoned him again today as we had not heard from him, i thought it would be useful for you to know as he feels that something had happened to his serviced kenevo knee that resulted in his fall. This is the info i got from a very short phone call as he didn't want to talk further at present; he is currently still in hospital in the hdu and reports he had a bad break to his femur (i did not ascertain on which side).Pt reports he has undergone surgery. He is unsure how long he will be in a hospital or of the recovery and rehab involved. In terms of the accident - pt reported that the serviced keveno "gave way" and collapsed under him while crossing a road.He reported he felt there was no resistance. He reports "it nearly killed him", and that he had to drag himself to the other side of the road as no-one was around to help him and this is where he called an ambulance.
