|
Medtronic received information regarding a catheter that was used during a procedure.It was reported that the passer tip broke off in a patient, while it was being used.The plastic arrow tip of the long trocar broke off and got disengaged from its original form.It was noted that broken piece of the product remained inside the patients body, but it was not specified whether the piece had been retrieved.It was unknown which box the product had come from.Neither delay nor patient impact information were provided.
